Oggleflint

Level 16 elite · Side cave right of the trogg cavern, beside Maur Grimtotem's corpse

Optional

Trogg chieftain melee fight with a Cleave; clear the troggs near his cave first, then kill the adds that come with him.

Watch for
  • CleaveNot in front

Hits his target and up to two players nearest it for extra melee damage.

Group plan
Tank

Pull and kill the troggs around him first. Face Oggleflint away from the group so only you take Cleave, and mark any adds he brings.

Healer

Heal from range and stay off the tank's sides so Cleave can't reach you. Watch your threat while the tank gathers adds.

Damage

Kill trogg adds first, then the boss. Melee attack from behind, never beside the tank. Inspect Maur Grimtotem's corpse after the kill for the satchel quest.

Each class
  • Druid · your class

Root a loose trogg with Entangling Roots, which works indoors in Forever. In Bear Form, Swipe, learned at 16, hits up to three troggs.

  • Hunter · your class

Put Hunter's Mark on Oggleflint once the tank has him. Use Concussive Shot on any trogg that breaks toward the healer.

  • Mage · your class

Polymorph one trogg add while the tank holds the boss. Frost Nova troggs that reach the healer, then step away.

  • Paladin · your class

Tank with Righteous Fury and Seal of Fury. In Forever, Judgement under Seal of Fury taunts, so use it to pull a trogg off the healer.

  • Priest · your class

Keep Renew and Power Word: Shield on the tank. Save Psychic Scream for emergencies; feared troggs can run into nearby packs.

  • Rogue · your class

Hit Oggleflint from behind with Backstab or Sinister Strike, never from his side. Use Evasion if a trogg add turns on you.

  • Shaman · your class

Drop Stoneskin Totem near the tank and Earthbind Totem in the trogg path to slow adds that peel toward the healer.

  • Warlock · your class

Put Curse of Weakness on Oggleflint to soften Cleave, plus Bane of Agony: in Forever one Bane and one utility Curse share a target.

  • Warrior · your class

Tank in Defensive Stance; in Forever, Thunder Clap works there, so use it to hold the troggs. Demoralizing Shout cuts his melee.

Taragaman the Hungerer

Level 16 elite · Central lava platform across the lava bridges

Hard-hitting felguard melee fight: Uppercut knocks the tank back and Fire Nova burns everyone close to him.

Watch for
  • Fire NovaStay back

Deals Fire damage to everyone near him, pets included.

  • UppercutTank

Hits his target for extra damage and knocks it back; near an edge that can mean the lava.

Group plan
Tank

Kill the patrolling Searing Blade cultists first. Tank him in the middle of his platform so Uppercut can't throw you into the lava. He hits hard, so use your mitigation early.

Healer

Stand at range, outside Fire Nova and away from the lava edge. Keep the tank topped up; a melee crit followed by Uppercut can kill a low-health tank.

Damage

Ranged stay outside Fire Nova. Melee attack from behind and step out when your health drops. Loot his heart for Slaying the Beast.

Each class
  • Druid · your class

Bear tanks: hold him in the platform center with Maul and Demoralizing Roar; Bear Form's threat bonus is 50% in Forever. Healers: Regrowth from range.

  • Hunter · your class

Fire Nova hits your pet in melee: watch its health and use Mend Pet, or pull it back. Shoot from range with Serpent Sting and Arcane Shot.

  • Mage · your class

Stay at range outside Fire Nova and cast Frostbolt. If a cultist patrol joins, Polymorph it and keep your damage on Taragaman.

  • Paladin · your class

Tank in the platform center with Devotion Aura and Righteous Fury. Healers: stay out of Fire Nova and save Lay on Hands for a crit plus Uppercut.

  • Priest · your class

Shield the tank before the pull and keep Renew rolling. Stand outside Fire Nova and away from the lava; cast Heal between his big hits.

  • Rogue · your class

Hit from behind and step out of Fire Nova when your health drops. Use Feint, which sheds twice the threat in Forever, so he stays on the tank.

  • Shaman · your class

Place Stoneskin Totem by the tank, then heal with Healing Wave or cast Lightning Bolt from range, outside Fire Nova.

  • Warlock · your class

Fire Nova hits pets near him, so use the Imp, which attacks from range. Put Curse of Weakness on him and give the tank a Healthstone, made from 10 in Forever.

  • Warrior · your class

Tank in Defensive Stance in the platform center so Uppercut can't throw you into lava. Keep Demoralizing Shout up; Shield Block when heals fall behind.

Bazzalan

Level 16 elite · Upper ledge, up the right-hand ramp before Jergosh's room

Optional

Satyr rogue who poisons his target; careful pulls can leave the two Searing Blade cultists in front of him out of the fight.

Watch for
  • Sinister StrikeHeal through

Instant strike for his weapon damage plus a little more.

  • PoisonCure poison

His melee hits sometimes poison his target for Nature damage every 3 sec.

Group plan
Tank

Pull with care so the two Searing Blade cultists in front of him stay out of the fight. Use your mitigation early and keep threat high; his poison lands on you.

Healer

Cure the poison on the tank: druids with Cure Poison, paladins with Purify, shamans with Cure Poison at 16. Priests can't remove it, so heal through it.

Damage

Burn Bazzalan first, then any guard that joins. Let the tank build threat first. Kill him for Hidden Enemies before you go down to Jergosh.

Each class
  • Druid · your class

Cast Cure Poison on whoever carries his poison. Bear tanks: keep Demoralizing Roar up against his melee and Sinister Strike.

  • Hunter · your class

Put Hunter's Mark on Bazzalan. If a guard joins, send your pet to hold it off the healer and Mend Pet it as needed.

  • Mage · your class

Polymorph one of his cultist guards before the pull, then burn Bazzalan with Frostbolt. Frost Nova if he turns on you, then step back.

  • Paladin · your class

Purify removes his poison: cleanse the tank between heals. Hammer of Justice buys a breather if he turns on someone else.

  • Priest · your class

You can't remove his poison, so keep Renew and Power Word: Shield on the tank and heal through it. Let a paladin, druid or shaman cleanse.

  • Rogue · your class

Sap one of his guards before the pull. In Forever, Sap no longer breaks Stealth, so stay hidden until the tank has Bazzalan, then open with Garrote.

  • Shaman · your class

Cure Poison, learned at 16, clears his poison from the tank. Drop Stoneskin Totem near the tank against his Sinister Strikes.

  • Warlock · your class

Send your Voidwalker onto one guard to keep it off the healer, and keep Curse of Weakness on Bazzalan to trim his Sinister Strikes.

  • Warrior · your class

Keep Demoralizing Shout up and use Shield Block against his Sinister Strikes; use Revenge after each block, dodge or parry.

Jergosh the Invoker

Level 16 elite · Final room, down the ramp from Bazzalan's ledge

Orc warlock caster with two guards: interrupt Immolate, play through Curse of Weakness and kill him before his guards.

Watch for
  • ImmolateInterrupt

2 sec cast; burns a player, then adds Fire damage every 3 sec for 21 sec.

  • Curse of WeaknessRemove curse

Lowers a player's physical damage dealt for 30 sec.

Group plan
Tank

Clear the cultists in the room first. Pull Jergosh with his two guards and hold all three; stop Immolate with your stun or bash when you can.

Healer

Heal through Immolate's 21 sec burn with heals over time and keep mana in reserve. Curse of Weakness only lowers damage dealt; a mage can clear it with Remove Lesser Curse, learned at 18.

Damage

Kill Jergosh first, then his guards. Interrupt Immolate with Kick, Earth Shock or Shield Bash. His kill and Bazzalan's finish Hidden Enemies.

Each class
  • Druid · your class

Use Bash in Bear Form to stop an Immolate cast. As healer, Rejuvenation on each player Immolate hits saves mana over big heals.

  • Hunter · your class

Put Hunter's Mark on Jergosh and focus him. Send your pet to hold a guard off the healer and Mend Pet it.

  • Mage · your class

Polymorph one guard before the pull so the tank holds Jergosh and one add. Burn Jergosh with Frostbolt and finish with Fire Blast.

  • Paladin · your class

Hammer of Justice stops an Immolate cast. Tanks in Forever: Judgement under Seal of Fury taunts a guard back off the healer.

  • Priest · your class

Shield and Renew the players Immolate burns rather than chase them with Heal. Keep Inner Fire up in case a guard turns on you.

  • Rogue · your class

Save Kick for Immolate casts and rotate with the other interrupters. Sap a guard from Stealth before the pull.

  • Shaman · your class

Earth Shock interrupts Immolate and locks out his Fire spells for 2 sec; save it for his casts instead of damage.

  • Warlock · your class

Keep Bane of Agony and Corruption on Jergosh, then use Drain Life to cover the Immolate damage you take.

  • Warrior · your class

Shield Bash his Immolate casts. In Forever, Thunder Clap works in Defensive Stance, so use it to hold both guards.
