Ambassador Malcin
Level 36 elite · Outside the instance portal; his spawn spot varies
Optional
Optional outdoor quest kill for An Unholy Alliance: an elite undead caster who curses the tank and casts Shadow Bolt.
Watch for
Curse of BloodRemove curse
Curse that makes the target take more physical damage.
Shadow BoltInterrupt
Casts a bolt of Shadow damage at one target.
Group plan
Tank
Find his spawn spot outside the portal and clear any quilboar near it so he comes alone. Keep him on you; Curse of Blood raises the physical damage you take.
Healer
Heal through his Shadow Bolts on the tank. Ask a mage or druid to remove Curse of Blood, since it raises the physical damage the tank takes.
Damage
Interrupt his Shadow Bolts and burn him once the tank has him. Loot Ambassador Malcin's Head for An Unholy Alliance.
Each class
Druid · your class
Remove Curse (24) clears Curse of Blood from the tank. In Bear Form, Bash interrupts his Shadow Bolt.
Hunter · your class

Mage · your class

Paladin · your class
Open with Exorcism, which works on undead like Malcin, and stop a Shadow Bolt with Hammer of Justice.
Priest · your class

Rogue · your class
Kick his Shadow Bolts, and Gouge or Kidney Shot (30) the next cast while Kick cools down.
Shaman · your class
Earth Shock interrupts his Shadow Bolt. Shamans cannot remove Curse of Blood, so a druid or mage handles it.
Warlock · your class
Keep Curse of Tongues (26) on him so his Shadow Bolts cast 50% slower, and Shadow Ward (32) absorbs their Shadow damage.
Warrior · your class
Shield Bash his Shadow Bolts. Curse of Blood raises the physical damage you take, so ask a mage or druid to remove it.
Level 40 elite · The Caller's Chamber, the gong room
Optional
Gong event: two spider waves, then a crypt fiend who roots players in front of him and spreads a poison and a curse.
Watch for
Web SprayNot in front
Roots everyone in a cone in front of him.
Virulent PoisonCure poison
His melee hits can poison the target for Nature damage every 3 sec.
Curse of Tuten'kashRemove curse
Curse on nearby players that slows casting by 15% and slows attacks.
Gong 1First ring
A swarm of non-elite Tomb Fiends rushes in. Kill every one; the gong will not ring again while one lives, so check the halls for strays.
Gong 2Second ring
Four elite Tomb Reavers attack. Tank them together or crowd-control some and kill them one at a time.
Tuten'kashThird ring
Tuten'kash leaves his cave. Tank him facing away from the group and remove his curse and poison.
Group plan
Tank
Clear the gong room first. Gather the Tomb Fiend swarm, then hold the four Tomb Reavers. Face Tuten'kash away from the group so Web Spray roots only you.
Healer
Heal from behind him, out of the Web Spray cone. Priests cannot remove his curse or poison, so a druid, mage, paladin or shaman cleans them up.
Damage
AoE the Tomb Fiends, then kill Tomb Reavers one at a time. On Tuten'kash, stay behind him and keep the tank ahead of you on threat.
Each class
Druid · your class

Hunter · your class
Drop Freezing Trap at your feet in combat, a Forever change, to hold a Tomb Reaver. Multi-Shot the Tomb Fiend swarm.
Mage · your class
Arcane Explosion, Blizzard or Flamestrike the Tomb Fiend swarm. Remove Lesser Curse clears Curse of Tuten'kash from the healer.
Paladin · your class
Purify removes Virulent Poison. In Forever every paladin trains Consecration at 20; use it to hold the Tomb Fiend swarm.
Priest · your class
Shackle Undead a Tomb Reaver during wave two. You cannot remove his curse or poison, so call for a druid, mage, paladin or shaman.
Rogue · your class
Stay behind Tuten'kash, out of the Web Spray cone. Blind (34) or Gouge a Tomb Reaver if the tank loses one.
Shaman · your class
Poison Cleansing Totem (22) removes a poison every 5 sec; Cure Poison works too. Magma Totem helps with the Tomb Fiend swarm.
Warlock · your class
Rain of Fire or Hellfire (30) on the Tomb Fiend swarm. Let your Voidwalker hold one Tomb Reaver during wave two.
Warrior · your class
Challenging Shout (26) gathers the Tomb Fiend swarm. Face Tuten'kash away from the group so Web Spray roots only you.
Level 39 elite · On top of the Bone Pile, beyond the Murder Pens

Watch for
FireballInterrupt
Fire damage to one target, 3-sec cast.
Fire NovaStay back
Instant Fire damage to everyone near him.
Group plan
Tank
Pull some skeletons away first if you can; attacking him or the skeletons beside him starts the fight. Grab the rest with area threat, then hold Mordresh.
Healer
Wait until the tank has threat before you heal, or the skeletons run to you. Fire Nova hits everyone close to him, so top up melee after each one.
Damage
AoE the non-elite skeletons down fast, then focus Mordresh and interrupt Fireball. Ranged stay out of Fire Nova range.
Each class
Druid · your class
In Bear Form, Swipe hits three skeletons at once. Healers keep Rejuvenation on the AoE casters while they burn the swarm.
Hunter · your class
Explosive Trap (34) and Multi-Shot on the skeletons. Viper Sting (36) drains Mordresh's mana so he casts fewer Fireballs.
Mage · your class
Arcane Explosion, Blizzard or Flamestrike the skeletons. Counterspell his Fireball, and Fire Ward absorbs Fire damage when they turn on you.
Paladin · your class
Consecration, trained by every paladin in Forever, holds the skeletons. Fire Resistance Aura (36) cuts Fire Nova and Fireball damage.
Priest · your class
Holy Nova (Holy talent) hits the skeleton swarm. Power Word: Shield the AoE casters before the pull, and Shackle a skeleton if one runs loose.
Rogue · your class
Kick his Fireball once the skeletons are down. Use Evasion if the skeletons swarm you.
Shaman · your class
Fire Resistance Totem (28) cuts his Fire damage. Earth Shock interrupts Fireball, and Magma Totem helps with the skeletons.

Phase 1Pull to first spectres
Frostbolt, Frost Nova and Amnennar's Wrath. Stack behind him and interrupt Frostbolt.
SpectresAs his health drops (sources disagree on when and how often)
Frost Spectres join. The tank picks them up or a priest shackles one; kill them or keep burning Amnennar, since they die with him. Save cooldowns for the last summon.
Group plan
Tank
Face him toward his tent, with the group stacked behind him. Interrupt Frostbolt and pick up Frost Spectres as they spawn.
Healer
Stack behind him with the group. Damage spikes when the spectres arrive; save mana and cooldowns for those moments.

Watch for
Putrid StenchStay back
Disease that cuts nearby players' Strength and Agility by 50 and stops their spellcasting for 10 sec.
Withered TouchCure disease
Melee-range disease that deals Shadow damage and drains mana over time.
Ritual wavesFrom the start of the ritual
Waves of an elite quilboar caster, an elite undead melee add and non-elite undead boars keep coming. Keep every add off Belnistrasz; if he dies, the quest fails.
PlaguemawAfter the last wave
Plaguemaw arrives. Tank him, cure Withered Touch and Putrid Stench, and keep casters out of Putrid Stench range.
Group plan
Tank
Make sure everyone has turned in Scourge of the Downs before the start. Mark and pick up each wave as it spawns, keeping adds off Belnistrasz and the healer.
Healer
Spawns come fast, so you may not get a drink. Stand out of Putrid Stench range so you can keep casting, and cure Withered Touch on the tank.
Damage
Kill wave adds one at a time and peel any that reach Belnistrasz. When Plaguemaw arrives, burn him; casters stay out of Putrid Stench range.
Each class
Druid · your class
In Bear Form, Growl wave adds off Belnistrasz and Swipe the pack. Balance and Restoration druids stay at range so Putrid Stench cannot stop casts.
Hunter · your class
Distracting Shot pulls a wave add off Belnistrasz. Freezing Trap now works in combat at your feet, a Forever change; trap the next add.
Mage · your class
Polymorph each wave's quilboar caster. The boars and the elite melee add are undead, so Polymorph fails on them. Stay out of Putrid Stench range.
